August 16, 2010 Halton expands operations in HungaryHalton strengthens its operations in Hungary by starting production of indoor climate systems and components. Move to new production facility in Dunaharaszti, near Budapest will enable also Halton Clean Air to increase air filtration production capacity. The investment will strengthen Halton’s competitive position in the Central and Eastern European markets. Halton expands operations in Hungary and moves into a new location in Dunaharaszti 19 kilometers from Budapest. The new production facility enables Halton to start production of indoor climate system components and to increase air filtration production capacity. In addition, a new sales office and regional administration will be established in the Dunaharaszti site. The investment will enhance our offering and service in the Central and Eastern Europe in both air filtration and indoor climate products. - In addition to manufacturing of air diffusion components for market segments like: offices, hotels, health care, shopping/entertainment centers, airports and industry, the unit will also concentrate on building indoor climate system solutions for Central and Eastern European market needs. As a result we are able to offer new solutions for different segments from office to hotels and health care as tailored to local needs. Being close to the market will mean faster service for our clients, comments Tomasz Palka, Regional Director from Halton Indoors business area. Halton will continue its long cooperation with Innovent Ktf. in Hungary. Halton’s customers are served both by Halton’s own local sales team and Innovent Ktf. in the sales of indoor climate components and systems. - Our Hungarian customers will benefit from the expansion. Strengthening operations in Hungary by establishing wider production and sales unit enables us to serve our customers better and faster. Investment will also improve Halton’s appearance in the market for being a leading supplier of indoor climate and systems, says Tuomas Qvick, Halton Clean Air’s Managing Director. Halton has expanded operations recently in Asia and Scandinavia as well. Halton acquired business operations of central vacuum cleaning company Puzair Oy in Finland. Halton is also expanding operations both in China and Malaysia to meet the growing demand in Asian markets.
