Halton acquired the business operations of Puzair Oy


On August 2, 2010, Puzair Oy’s business operations were transferred to Halton Puzair Oy owned by Halton Group Ltd. The acquisition strengthens Halton’s offering especially for the facility owner segment. Matti Rantaniemi has been nominated as director of the unit.

Puzair is a specialist on central vacuum cleaner and automatic paper shredder emptying systems for offices, hotels, ships and industry. “The offering of the company complements Halton’s offering for facility owners and business owners. The solutions of Puzair directly influence the quality of indoor environment and especially indoor air.  Puzair also shares a lot of clients with Halton in the office, hotel and marine segments,” director of Halton's New Ventures business area Tarja Takki sums up the advantages of the acquisition.

The business of Puzair Oy continues unchanged as Halton Puzair Oy, and the personnel is transferred to Halton as old-established employees. Engineer and MBA Matti Rantaniemi has been appointed the business manager of the company, and he has started in the beginning of August. To join Halton, Rantaniemi is leaving his position as the CEO of BioZone Scientific International Oy. CEO Pertti Värtö and CFO Timo Värtö, the owners of Puzair, will leave the company after a short transition phase.
